It was crazy. Everyone was taking pictures at every at bat. You could see the flashes going off all over the stadium. It was packed. I couldn't believe it. After Barry gave a speech it was business as usual. He stayed in for one more inning and then he was pulled from the game. He was glad that he did it before school started and that his family was there to see it.
All of us were glad that the reporters were going to leave and we could have our park back. The nationals were great because they were ok with it happening in a way. This was one night I wasn't going to forget for a long time.
Horoscope: Do you need to reach someone who is notoriously reclusive or bad about answering messages? Now is the time to get them on the phone or get them in person. It might take some doing, though, so be tenacious!

Mark Sweeney is such a doll...
I was walking past the clubhouse when I heard someone say, "Hi sweetheart."
My first reaction was, who knows me and why are they calling me sweetheart?
I turned around and saw Mark standing there talking to someone. I had to do a double take and think for a moment who it was.
I said, "You look different."
He said, "I'm not wearing a uniform?"
I said, "Yes, that's park of it."
He was wearing an orange or black t-shirt with Mike Murphy's face on it. It said "Master Murph's clubhouse" I think.
He talked to me for a while and then I said bye to him. I was on a high that game. He was so nice to me. He stopped talking to whoever he was talking to to ask me how I was. He will always be my favorite player.
Horoscope:Your blistering enthusiasm for what you believe in is more powerful than ever -- and if you want to make things happen, today is the day to do it. Your emotional conviction will persuade others to see things your way, so go for it! There is no point in keeping all that power to yourself. If you jump into things heart-first, you stand a greater chance of making your mark. This is no time for hesitation. Just be careful not to let your listening skills be hampered by your passion.

The Sweet Escape - Gwen Stefani feat. Akon
If I could escape I would but,
First of all, let me say
I must apologize for acting stank & treating you this way
Cause I've been acting like sour milk all on the floor
It's your fault you didn't shut the refrigerator
Maybe that's the reason I've been acting so cold?
[CHORUS]
If I could escape & recreate a place that's my own world
& I could be your favourite girl (forever), Perfectly together
Tell me boy now wouldn't that be sweet? (sweet escape)
If I could be sweet, I know I've been a real bad girl (I'll try to change)
I didn't mean for you to get hurt (whatsoever)
We can make it better, Tell me boy wouldn't that be sweet? (sweet escape)
[Akon]
I want to get away, to our sweet escape
I want to get away, yeah
[Gwen]
You held me down, I'm at my lowest boiling point
Come help me out, I need to get me out of this joint
Come on let's bounce, counting on you to turn me around
Instead of clowning around, let's look for some common ground
So baby, times get a little crazy
I've been gettin' a little lazy, waitin' on you to come save me
I can see that you're angry by the way that you treat me
Hopefully you don't leave me, wanna take you with me
[CHORUS]
If I could escape & recreate a place that's my own world
& I could be your favourite girl (forever), Perfectly together
& tell me boy now wouldn't that be sweet? (sweet escape)
If I could be sweet (sorry boy)
I know I've been a real bad girl (I'll try to change)
I didn't mean for you to get hurt (whatsoever)
We can make it better
& tell me boy now wouldn't that be sweet? (sweet escape)
Woohoo, Yeehoo
Woohoo, Yeehoo (If I could escape)
Woohoo, yeehoo (If I could escape)

Opening Day 4-3-07
My second opening day ever.
I would have to say this year was a let down. Last year I remember going to the park and seeing Noah pitch and then get hurt. The sun wasn’t shining and then it because a beautiful day. This year it was sunny before I got to the park. That was a little strange. I had no idea what I was going to be in store for today. I did not know I would get to see many of the greats from past All Star games and then to see a couple of them in person!
As I went out for the second time as I was going back to my seat I saw Jeffery Leonard. The Hacman as he was called was trying to get to his car. I was holding two hot links and I didn’t have a pen for an autograph. Damn. He was turned away by security because he didn’t have a press pass. Yup, the usher was strict and it was before her time. She also told me who she stopped and made them turn around. It wasn’t like they were wearing their jerseys with their name on the back. Of course everyone would then hound them for autographs. I was close to it and it would have meant something to me.
It was something to learn about the history of the team. The number of great ones who made it to the All Star games. Barry Bonds’ father Bobby was an All Star too, but he passed away a couple of years ago. Seeing Mc Covey on the field with others just made me go WOW. He’s a nice man and if I could speak with him I’d say thank you for the memories that you have give us as fans. I haven’t been a fan that long, but just seeing him on the field just puts tears to my eyes right now. Very touching to see him out there with a couple of other Hall of Famers like Orlando Cepeda and Juan Marichal.
I still remember the ceremony when we honored Marichal. The bridge went up to mimic his leg kick. Today I will take with me the great ones that have had a career with the Giants and have given me hope for this year.

My Left Eye Sees Ghosts...
I just finished watching that movie and it brought me to tears. It started when I was watching the second half wondering if there was something near me. It just turned out that the movie so much I started to cry.
It's a touching story where Sammi falls in love with her husband in 7 days and in that time they get married. He ends up drowning and his family doesn't believe that he married her. One night she ends up passing out at the wheel and that's when she can see ghosts.
At the end of the movie she finds out that the ghost was her husband in disguise. She and the guy that fixes the car she totaled (it was her late husband's car) was the guy she was meant to be with.
If you want to see a strange love story, this one is it.

Think Geek...
Super Simian to the Rescue!
Legend tells of a hero not born unto this world, but destined to change forever the course of human existence. A hero so grand that all past legends will turn to dust in the wake of his greatness. This is not that hero. This is, however, the next best thing: a monkey with a cape and a mask. Because nothing says power like a cape and a mask.
This monkey has a secret - there are pockets in the monkey's hands. Slip your fingers in, pull back his hind legs, and his arms will stretch to a crazy length with the magic of rubber! You can just feel the potential energy coursing through the monkey's imaginary veins. Let fly and you will be treated to a wondrous sight. The monkey will scream with delight when jolted. So, if the launch is hard enough, you'll get a scream of power in mid air; or if the landing is hard, you'll get a scream of protest as gravity does its work. Or, you fling like a master, you'll get a double-dose of monkey justice (i.e. noise). Dimensions: 11" Tall (arms at sides)

Think Geek...
Help Your Monkey Make Beautiful Noise
There’s a door in ThinkGeek HQ which leads to another dimension (and no, we don’t mean the bathroom). In this other dimensional Earth, which we call Moorhtab, Spock has a beard and monkeys are as plentiful and beautiful as butterflies (and they fly too). It is indeed a great sight to see a flock of Moorhtabian Monkeys chiming in the wind. They chime because of the magnetic stones their carry in their little sacks. It was such an unusual noise, we knew we had to find a way to share it with you, our customers. Lucky for us, Moorhtabian Monkeys love string cheese, so a giant trade deal was made. Now, it is our pleasure to present, for this first time in this dimension, Singing Monkey Balls.
A few tips & tricks for your Singing Monkey Balls...
- The Spinner - Start off by clasping the Monkey Balls between your thumb and two fingers. Squeezing gently will spin the Monkey Balls briefly in the air, producing a mysterious whistle. Try spinning them from one hand into the other. The higher into the air you spin them, the longer they whistle. (Please be sure no real Monkeys are in the vicinity when trying this trick, they may become disturbed.)
- The Pendulum - Hold one Monkey ball between your fingers and thumb, then attach the second ball to the bottom of the first. Gently swing the balls back and forth like a pendulum. For an even greater challenge, see how close you can bring the second Monkey Ball to perpendicular before they clash together.
- The Pinch - Place the Monkey Balls on a smooth surface, pinch the ends together with your thumb and forefinger, then release. The balls will emit a pleasant fluttering sound as they spin around the surface. Experiment with different surfaces to produce varying noises.
WARNING: This product is very magnetic. Always keep a safe distance (at least 20 inches) from magnetic storage media and sensitive electronic equipment such as: portable hard disks, pacemakers, credit cards, laptops and especially CRT monitors!
PLEASE NOTE: Singing Monkey Balls are not indestructible. Only kryptonite is indestructible and ThinkGeek does not carry that yet. Avoid dropping the balls onto hard surfaces. Never ever ingest them and keep them away from live monkeys.

The car that wouldn't shut the fuck up...
Well then I keep hearing the same alarm. Now I start to wonder because I get curious as to what kind of car is it? Where is it located? Why is it going off every two minutes? I'm in my room and it's about a quarter of a block away and I still hear it with the TV volume turned up to almost 50.
It then becomes later at night. It's 11.05 p.m. and I still hear the same car alarm. At this point it's just annoying and since no one (all the neighbors did not call or anything) I decided to do something. Rather than calling 911 because I looked up who you would call I found out the nearest station and e-mailed them. I emailed the station with the following information:
I am writing because there is a white Mercedes Benz that has a car alarm that goes off every couple of minutes. When I arrived home tonight it was already sounding. It is now 11 pm at night and it is still going off. The car is located on the corner of 18th and XXXXXXX. If you turn right on XXXXXX it is the second card before you reach 18th avenue. If you could have someone either locate the owner of the car and or have it towed I'd appreciate it and I'm sure the rest of the neighbors would too.
If you need to reach me my cell phone number is 415-xxx-xxxx. I do not know who's car that is nor do I have the license plate number. My name is Monkey.
That is what I put down. I believe I emailed that at about 11.09 p.m. and within about 20 minutes to about half an hour there was this truck noise I heard. I thought it might have been a delivery truck for Safeway or something. I find out it's a tow truck ready to take the car and there is a police car there too. While they were trying to tow the car I bet and believe they heard and understood what I was talking about. As they were trying to remove the car the alarm continued to sound.
My theory is this: if you can have a nice car then you can afford to pay the fee to get your car back from the impound lot. Should your car keep making annoying noises and someone who has pretty good hearing they will call and have your car towed.
Lesson here: If your car alarms keeps going for hours and hours I'm going to have it towed at YOUR expense and that's too fucking bad for you. If the people with in a half block radius has to hear your alarm go off for hours on end and don't complain I will. Watch where you park your car because if that alarm goes off for more than an hour expect it to be gone from the place you parked.
This has been a public service announcement for those that drive a nice expensive car and leave it unattended for more than three hours and knew the alarm would go off that often.
I wish I had a picture of the car being towed and or the car before. But I don't.
Horoscope: Lay the foundation for a few important things you hope to do -- plan the future. Is it better to give or receive? Now that's a question for the ages. Your usual perspective goes topsy-turvy when you realize there's more to life than accruing goods and success. What's really important?
