My dream...

I woke up this morning with the strangest dream. It has J.T. Snow in it. I'm not kidding nor am I joking. I think it had something to do with the little flyer they passed out on day during some game. I read it and then someone posted that it would be the last time maybe you could see him as a Giant. I think I talked with him about something.

I know I did ask him to sign a couple of autographs. He was really nice about it. I asked him to sign my hat and then asked if he would sign my jersey too. (This is the part where I wished was true and when I woke up to find it true.) The strangest part had to be that there was no one in line. I felt bad for him. I just stood there and talked to him.

Here's what I don't get. I had the dream and it was just me and him. At a signing there's no one else? How is that even possible? I'll never know. At least it was a cool one where I got to meet him and have him sign a couple things. I think I also said sorry for shouting, "honey, sweetie, cutie, and baby" at him.

I'm so old...

It's been a while since I last update this. I thought I would today out of all days. It's a holiday and there's no baseball. Now back to the title of the post. I'm so old because I'm listening to Wild Cherry's Play that Funky Music and I actually like that song. Not because Dustan Mohr used it last season while he was here, but because I have. I like all types of music.

I realized that I'm old. I'm as old as a 60 year old maybe. I mean if I know a ton of oldies and can sing along that's just scary. When I know the artist and something about them, then I know I've been watching too much VH1 or Behind the Music.

I've seen one too many spiders today. One was in my room and other was a black widow looking thing while I was forced to clean or check a box. Hey, I've got spider problems. If I didn't have a heart attack then I'm lucky. I did say I was at least 60. Tonight I think I'm just going to take it easy and sleep early. It seems like I can't ever get enough sleep. Oh I also look "black" according to my mom. I am just "darker" because of the sun on Sunday.

BEAT LA!

That's all we can chant. We took apart those sorry baby blue wearing players from the south. They didn't stand a chance. We were on fire! It was payback for the first series at home. We took opening day, but they took the rest from us. They left us going what did we do wrong? What was missing?

We didn't have #25, but it didn't matter. Everyone was producing and playing like a team. Teamwork is what gets the job done. They worked hard and scored a lot and in the end held it together to have the closer come on in and finish the job.

Such a sweet victory. Milton giving everyone looks, but in the end it didn't matter because Tony Bennett serenaded us home.

When the Giants come to town...

When the Giants come to town, it's "Bye-Bye Baby!"
Every time the chips are down, it's "Bye-Bye Baby!"
History's in the making at Candlestick Park!
Cheer for the batter, and light the spark!

If you're a fan of Giants baseball, sing "Bye-Bye Baby!"
If you want to be in first place, call "Bye-Bye Baby!"
Listen to the broadcast on KSFO.
Turn up the volume, and hear 'em go.

With the San Francisco Giants, it's "Bye-Bye Baby!"

Giants WIN!

So I wake up from the fire trucks and then I get a phone call. That just woke me up. I could sleep after that even if I wanted to. Then I brush my teeth and eat lunch. I also found a white or grey hair. It was terrible! I felt old right away. I made udon and watched Fruits Basket. I then watch the Dodgers and Angels game with the terrible Fox guys. They can't pronounce to save their life. I mean one guy can, but the other is just forget it.

I end up leaving the house about an hour before game time. I walked from my house all the way to Jamba juice and thank god the bus driver waited for me. I swear Jamba Juice people need to either get more blenders and or change the set up of the place. I mean they did, but the area where you pay and where you wait is just terrible.

While on the bus some idiot decided that he would "wear" his duffel bag. I wanted to tell him off (already angry from having to wait and someone didn't know how to stop opening the door. I was ready to kick ass. I didn't, but I did help out a little old lady so I'm happy.

I'm shocked that I even made it to the park before game time. I had no idea why there were so many people until someone clued me in and said that KFOG had something called KABOOM going on. It was a free concert and then afterwards there would be fireworks.

While waiting in line to get into the park we decided to go in from the back entrance. There was some Oakland fan and they started with the "Let's Go Oakland" and I was ready to kick ASS. I mean I was. Even the guys in front of me were like go do it. My friend had to go no don't do it. I would be outside of the park in trouble not inside so I could still get in.

While at the game it was exciting. I mean I was cheering and made one comment which I thought was funny. I said, "Byrnes (or Hey Byrnes) did you put on eye black with your toe?" This was in reference to the game where the National's guy had so much it looked like he was crying eye black. Then there were these two guys who couldn't find their seats. I helped them out. My second good deed of the day. Maybe third since I helped someone else out. Then at some point in the game those so called guys who I helped out started, "Let's go Oakland." I had to give them stank eye. If they were going to be like that all game I'd have to totally be in your face.

I did go along with some of the "Let's go Giants!" but not many. After the game while walking down the street someone yelled out, "Oakland" and I replied with "Giants". I think I have a loud voice, but sometimes . . . I just wonder. Then I went to Safeway to buy some food. The person who was working at the counter had no idea what she was doing. I mean she did, but was still new at her job. The funniest part was that the beer section was EMPTY! I bet it was either the Giants fans celebrating (saw some with champagne) or A's fans trying to forget.

What did I wear to the park? Khakis pants, black long sleeve t-shirt, Giants jersey, red monkey hoodie, and my monkey bag. No earrings on and hair was partly up.

For Once In My Life - Stevie Wonder

For once in my life
I have someone who needs me
Someone I needed so long
For once unafraid
I can go where life leads me
And somehow I know I?ll be strong

For once I can touch
What my heart used to dream of
Long before I knew
Ooh, ooh, ooh, someone like you
Would ever dream of makin? my dreams come true

For once in my life
I won?t let sorrow hurt me
Not like it?s hurt me before, oh
For once I have something I know won't desert me
?Cause I?m not alone anymore

For once I can say
This is mine, you can?t take it
Long as I know I?ve got love I can make it
For once in my life
I?ve got that someone who needs me
Mmm...hmm...hmm...

For once I can say
This is sho? nuff mine, you can?t take it
Long as I know I?ve got love I can make it
For once in my life
I?ve got that someone who needs me

Oh, yes, he does
I?ve got that someone who needs me
He told me this mornin? that he needed me
Mmm...mmm...I believe

Great GAME!

Tomko did a smashing job. He was great. The time of the game was one hour and 46 minutes. The shortest game in about 20 years or so. I know I saw a few good moves, but I'm glad I didn't see the Pirate scoring. That would have killed me. Well, not really, but you know.

I need to sleep early. Honestly, it's terrible how I'm up so late. I need to head to bed before the midnight replay. It's terrible if I don't. Should I go to tomorrow's game? Yes or no? It'll be a little over a week before I can go to another game.

The weather going home was crazy, but what else is new? It was sunny, but started to rain a little. Oh well. I forgot to see if there's a rainbow. Boo.

Life is so strange at times.

A WIN!!!!

Alright, I know I've not update this in so long, but I've been busy and lazy at the same time. Is that even possible? Yes, it is. With my work schedule and then going to games after work because someone keeps bugging me in a good way is good. I know this is going to be a strange entry, but whatever.

I wake up early-ish (that's before noon for those of you that don't know) and I freaked out because it was raining and I thought that maybe it would be rained out. No such luck. The game started and then it rained. It was a tight game. We had to win it. I mean I was on edge the whole game. This is watching it on TV!

After many hours and 13 innings we won! This is after 4 losses. I am glad too. I don't want to be sad or look said. I did write to the baseball god on the message board asking for a sign. I think that was it. The sign I was waiting for.

Best catch: Yorvit for saving an out.
Worse catch: Michael Tucker costing us a run.
MVPs of the game: Omar for the winning run. Jason Ellison for getting on base to score it.

I killed a spider in my room. I just saw it and I was like, "eww". I killed it with that thing that you use to open the blinds. That stick thing. I hope I update more.

Horoscope: Get a little r and r: relaxation and romance. They go hand-in-hand now.
