Christmas Eve...

My complaint for the day is AC Transit. I leave work at about 4.45 p.m. thinking the bus would show up by 5.00 p.m. But it?s ends up being 5.23 p.m. and then the bus finally shows. The bus fills up with people on the Edgewater stop. Then finally when we?re near the BART station there?s another bus behind us. WTF? How did the bus come out of no where?

I wanted to be home and not stuck right across the street because of some stupid bus not showing up. Everyone is trying to get home for the holiday and just finish wrapping presents.

I know I was really pissed off when I couldn?t get on the bus right after work to head home to just chill and start my three day weekend.

I just wish the bus company would be more responsible with the time schedule. I know that there is traffic and even nextbus.com won?t be as accurate.

When I get married...

I am making this post only after realizing how much my uncle likes to pull pranks. He seems harmless, but he's really a joker. After seeing how others are being "played" at their wedding eloping sounds good.

It would be the Oh by the way...we're married. This dinner you all are at is our way of saying thank you for coming and here's the surprise. It's similar to I guess Britney Spear's, but of course we all know how her's ended up.

I'd like to do the whole walking down the isle in a church with a dress and a nice reception, but maybe keeping it limited to family only. Maybe some friends.

It's still a long way away. Just fun to think about.

I?m in the parking garage at Stonestown Galleria and I make that first stop sign stop. After that I make that first right turn where there is a ?U? shape parking area. I saw a car leave and thought maybe there?s a parking spot. See if anyone knew the parking area right there, you?d have to turn right and then left to get out of that mini area. Well this BITCH saw the parking spot and started to proceed. Well her only problem is that she didn?t see the yellow arrow on the ground and went the wrong way.

She then proceeds to yell at me and say ?Did you not see me going for the spot?? Excuse me BITCH, but when did going the WRONG FUCKING WAY meant you had a parking spot and you had it first? Last time I checked I had the spot and I went the right way. I called her a dumbass and if I saw her inside the mall I would have kicked her ass.

Hey BITCH! Did you not see the yellow arrow on the ground? And who the FUCK gives you the right to yell at me and say it?s YOUR SPOT? Bitch you can go to hell. And if I ever see your car again I will key it and go? HEY BITCH! That?s MY FUCKING SPOT!

Black Friday...

If you all didn't know I spend Thanksgiving in San Diego. This one will be my first and last I'd say. I have never been so tired and so shocked in my life. So Cal pwns Nor Cal with Black Friday. I woke up with very little sleep to head over to Fryz for some deals. Little would I know what I would be expecting. We pulled into the wrong parking lot and that alone already had me freaked out. It was where a Wal Mart was. There was a line like you wouldn't believe.

We did end up leaving that lot to head over to the correct lot. There was a line that wrapped around the building at Fryz. I kid you not! There were beds and make shift cart forts. The line wrapped around the building before it opened. I might add I arrived at about 4am. You can imagine how long others were there for. It was sort of cold too.

This was something I wasn't prepared for. I was so tired I took a nap. I kid you not. The girl that never naps not even after a Black Friday in year's past just had to. Something about being in a car and for long distances that just put me to sleep.

I wish I had pictures of how long the line was, but I'm pretty sure I'd get hurt. There were many college students from UCSD and SDSU. I have no idea why they'd be there, but of course it's the holidays so that's why they were there.

That's today's topic. I have no idea why, but I'm hooked on it. It's my new "thing". It's the older version of MySpace. I have spent I don't know...maybe a week now on it, but hours maybe 72+?

You just kind of wonder how did Jane turn out? How did John turn out? It's really one of those curiosity things.

I learned something today...

OK it really took me about a week to figure out this one, but better late than never right? Well I reported that I went to the Rolling Stones concert on Monday because I had tickets from work. Yes, never in my wildest dreams I believe I?d go to a Rolling Stones concert.

I was sitting in section 239 and for a couple of songs I was able to sort of see Mick Jagger dancing like Curious George. Granted I don?t have perfect vision, but I knew it was him.

The opener was Van Morrison. The only song of theirs that I knew was Brown Eye Girl only because of some obscure memory I remember hearing after Lacy Peterson?s mother said that was her favorite song.

OK now that you all have an idea of who I?m talking about or the group I?ll get to the point of this entry. Van Morrison sang Crazy Love. For some of you who watched 90210 would know that song because Brian McKnight covered it and they showed him singing it at the end of a couple of the episodes. I thought I know that song. I didn?t know that Brian covered that song.

The other song that I knew well was Wild Nights because John Mellencamp covered that song back in the 90s as well. If you don?t know who he is well let me tell you. He?s the guy that sings the song This is Our Country in the Chevrolet car commercials and was on every other time (or it seemed like it) during the World Series.

Now you know a couple of the songs of the 90s was originally done by someone older.

No more baseball...

It has finally sunk in that there is no more baseball. When the last out was recorded and when the Cardinals received the World Series trophy I know that was the end. The 2006 baseball season has ended. What is there now? What can I look forward to? What will 2007 bring?

At the end of the regular season there was a release of Felipe Alou. He?s the only manager I?ve known. The newly hired manager I only know as the opposing manager. He will bring something new to the team. I will have to ask my contact once Spring Training rolls around. That would be Mark Sweeny. =)

Now it?s time for me to learn about other things that are going to happen in the post season. Such as the many free agents we have and who we are going to re-sign. There?s also the hope that Mike Matheney will be recovered and join the team in the final year of his contract; where he can be at his second home behind home plate catching the ball from his friend Matt Morris.

I just hope that some of the kids can come up and get a chance to prove their worth. It?s as if their dream to make it to the show won?t ever happen. If it does it?s only for one month during the September call ups. I just hope they have some talent that will allow them to come up and show it. I know we signed them to minor league contracts, but being

With the number of free agents this off season will be the time where I will be watching to find out if we re-sign Barry Bonds and which of the six position players we will be able to cross off our list as complete. The budget we have to work with can?t be a huge amount.

This off season I plan to learn a lot more about how the stuff outside the game works with the game itself. I hope that makes some sense.

Giants vs Rockies @ AT&T Park

This morning when I woke up I had no idea if the Giants would win. I gave up hope. I decided well, I might bring a jersey and which one would I wear? I wore the Gigantes one. I hadn?t washed it from when I last wore it in San Diego so I hope there was something left from the last game we won down there back in July.

I was not given a backpack because the guy said it was for kids. I was one! DAMN IT! OK I act like one more than anything.

A day where dreams came true just one more time.

A day where the sun was shining and the Giants had a win.

Not Randy Winn, but a WIN.

We were originally up one run, but then the Rockies scored to tie it and then take the lead.

It was hard to believe. It all started with Moises getting a single, and then Barry got a ground rule double to move Moises over to third. With those two hits, it just started the runs. Everyone worked hard to drive in runs. They were all singles, but it didn?t matter. What we had was something we were lacking for the past 11 games.

We did get one more run and I was glad. There were moments when we were just being silly and teasing the pitchers. They need to know that we the fans might have given up on some level, but if we could put a smile to their face, it would mean a little something to them.

We have the faith, some of us have about 10%, or so left after the trades and how terrible it went.

After the game, I went down past the clubhouse and I saw a few of the players. I saw Randy Winn talking with his wife. I saw Steve Finley signing a couple of autographs. While waiting for the ?Orangest Fan? I saw Mark Sweeney walking up holding his bats and other items. I saw him and went OMG! (Oh My God!) and he asked me how am I? All I could muster out was Hi. I was just shocked. I didn?t think he?d say hi. He?s dreamy. To think this guy ended the Giants hope last season. I?m smitten. I?m speechless and have no idea what to say. I could have said great game and nice going, but all I did was stand there and played ?dumb?. I will never ever regret being able to talk to a baseball player, but I have to learn how to talk.

Come on guys, my hope of this one game will turn us around. I know it?ll take a couple more, but please just remember this girl loves the game a lot and if her heart gets broken earlier and earlier in the season she will be one of the few that will go against what the norm is.

Giants vs Rockies @ ATT

Tonight?s game was something that I have never seen. Not even on TV. Fan just got tired of how the umpire Ron Kulpa was calling the game. The fact that he threw out Barry Bonds was just a shock. Water bottles came flying on to the field and other items.

Fans were just unhappy with how the game had changed with that one moment. This was at the bottom of the 9th when we were trying to make a comeback from behind. It seems like all the umpires don?t like the Giants. They just want to keep us from winning it. The blown calls were just outrageous.

This made me a little scared to be at the ballpark when something like this happens. I am just glad I?m not an umpire because then I?d really be fearing for my life.

The only highlight of the game was Barry Bonds hitting a homerun that did not man a lot in the end when he was ejected. Everyone was not happy. Krukow and Miller were shocked at what happened.

Just not a happy ending.

Giants vs Padres @ AT&T

Today was a good day. The sun was out and the tempurature was perfect. Just needing only a swetshirt and nothing more. Fireworks after a game with a nice win for Matt Cain. The team all pitching in to help the kid keep a shut out.

Alas, that wasn't to be. He gave up a homerun and was steamed. He was pulled and Wilson was put in as a replacement. Sad new with Jeremy Accardo traded to the Blue Jays.

Before the game I was able to talk to Mark Sweeney. I have to tell you I felt like I was floating on air. It's so cool that I can talk to a player like that. I just feel like I'm walking on air afterwards.

I have made it a point to talk to him when he's starting because then I know he'll do ok. If I don't talk to him I'll feel like I didn't do my job. It's crazy, but when you become more supersticous than the player there's something wrong.

Overall, I rank today as a good day. Not as exciting as yesterday's game which I wasn't at, but still just as good.

Giants vs Padres @ Petco Park

Today there was a double header. The first game was at noon and the second game was at 7.05 p.m. Little did I know how the day would turn out.

Started going to the first game. It was depressing. The reason why is because we had gone to the game on Friday and we lost. This happen the last time too. When we went to Seattle. It just was not fun. The first game there we went to was only 1.5 innings. The reason why is because there was a delay in the flight. They never said why. This time we made good time and we saw a lost.

Anyway, back to the point of this post. It was the deciding factor to see if we were a jinx or if it was the team. The second game was so much better. I mean we were really giving it our all. The possibility of losing the second game was great, but it would have been bad.

Before the second game, we went to go eat. We ended up eating at the place that the players go. The name of the restaurant was called Alcqua Al 2. The first thing we noticed was Todd Greene eating there with his family. We left him alone, just sat, and ordered our food. Afterwards we started to look at the plates they had on the wall. They had a lot of them and some were special. There was one that Omar and Moises did together. There is also the Giants 2006 plate. This was the mother plate of all plates. It has Barry Bonds autograph on it.

On the way out Todd Greene said hi to us. I bet he thinks we are his stalkers or something. After eating we headed back to the car and then went to the second game.

Little did I know what was going to happen. I was sitting behind the dugout trying to get autographs and then finally gave up. I did use a pen to write, ?Monkey was here.? I did not do it in Seattle, but that is ok. I then went back to my seat and took my glove with me. Well actually, I still had it. Then I just wanted to say hi to Mark Sweeney. I did not think he would toss me a ball. Well he did! Then to top it off I got him to sign it for me. He was warming up with Ray Durham with the ball. I was just floating on air after that. I never thought I?d get his autograph. I know you do not believe me, but I felt I did not think I?d get it. I did not get it on my team ball, but it?s ok.

I just felt like I had to give it my all. How Mark did, he do tonight? He went 2 for 4 with a homerun that was 366 feet I believe. I will have to check my picture because I did take a picture of it. I do not know if he thinks I am his lucky charm, but whatever works right? The funniest part was when I was trying to get his autograph. The usher who was watching the section was being a jerk. He said that he needed to talk to his friends first. Excuse me? But I know him too! Then I was able to get the autograph. I think I was floating on air after that.

I cheered Mark on. I am a girl after all. I do love the game. That was a good day. I will post pictures later. I have a little bit of everything from there. What I did not take with my camera will be with someone else?s camera.

Wow. That's all I can say. I've never been there for a milestone home run. It was different. The park was quiet and then it interrupted with cheering. There were fireworks, water cannons, and also a fog horn.

The ball went from homeplate all the way to centerfield. At first there was no idea where the ball went, but they showed a replay and my first thought was that the ball went to the Frybread stand.

After the inning ended they told us we would be able to get a pin for 715. They're different than the ones they had for the previous home runs. The pin is silver. It's something I'll never forget.

It was a mixture of Chinese Heritage night and promotion for Carnival this weekend in the Mission district. There's Lou and Ray talking with Jose being streatched I believe. Today was the strangest day ever. I woke up to the TV because the "sleep" mode didn't shut it off. Then I wake up because I forgot to turn off the alarm for my stereo. The ironic part of it was that it played that song Bad Day. I turn that off and then head back to sleep.

After the game ended I got a BALL! I mean I really got a BALL! I got the ball from Matt Morris. I was so HAPPY! OMG! I couldn't believe it. It was like...no words can describe it.

After the game we went to Momo's and saw and met players. OMG! I was able to talk to Todd Greene and Mark Sweeney! I've never ever been so happy. I was on cloud 9. Sweeney is cool. I told him his cheer was, "Come on! Cutie SWEENEY honey baby!" He laughed. I also called Todd Greene Uncle Fester and I said I was sorry. He said it's ok. I was so amazed. Sweeney said that he thinks Todd looks like Shrek so you know what my next call will be. I'll explain it was Sweeney's fault!

The fact they can hear me and know who I am is scary. I mean ME...short person, loud voice and they know ME! OMG! I'm so in heaven. Cloud 9.

The win helped a lot. It made the day that much more special. I'm glad I went and I'm glad someone made it all possible. Thank you.
