Today was a good day. The sun was out and the tempurature was perfect. Just needing only a swetshirt and nothing more. Fireworks after a game with a nice win for Matt Cain. The team all pitching in to help the kid keep a shut out.
Alas, that wasn't to be. He gave up a homerun and was steamed. He was pulled and Wilson was put in as a replacement. Sad new with Jeremy Accardo traded to the Blue Jays.
Before the game I was able to talk to Mark Sweeney. I have to tell you I felt like I was floating on air. It's so cool that I can talk to a player like that. I just feel like I'm walking on air afterwards.
I have made it a point to talk to him when he's starting because then I know he'll do ok. If I don't talk to him I'll feel like I didn't do my job. It's crazy, but when you become more supersticous than the player there's something wrong.
Overall, I rank today as a good day. Not as exciting as yesterday's game which I wasn't at, but still just as good.

I'm Sorry...
I?m sorry I have been updating my blog. Too much has happened and I?ve gotten lazy. I?ll try to post more, and sometimes if I?m posting I?ll go back to the original day and post it on the day it happened. I know that?s cheating, but that way I?ll have it on the correct day and it?ll be part of my blog.

Giants vs Padres @ Petco Park
Today there was a double header. The first game was at noon and the second game was at 7.05 p.m. Little did I know how the day would turn out.
Started going to the first game. It was depressing. The reason why is because we had gone to the game on Friday and we lost. This happen the last time too. When we went to Seattle. It just was not fun. The first game there we went to was only 1.5 innings. The reason why is because there was a delay in the flight. They never said why. This time we made good time and we saw a lost.
Anyway, back to the point of this post. It was the deciding factor to see if we were a jinx or if it was the team. The second game was so much better. I mean we were really giving it our all. The possibility of losing the second game was great, but it would have been bad.
Before the second game, we went to go eat. We ended up eating at the place that the players go. The name of the restaurant was called Alcqua Al 2. The first thing we noticed was Todd Greene eating there with his family. We left him alone, just sat, and ordered our food. Afterwards we started to look at the plates they had on the wall. They had a lot of them and some were special. There was one that Omar and Moises did together. There is also the Giants 2006 plate. This was the mother plate of all plates. It has Barry Bonds autograph on it.
On the way out Todd Greene said hi to us. I bet he thinks we are his stalkers or something. After eating we headed back to the car and then went to the second game.
Little did I know what was going to happen. I was sitting behind the dugout trying to get autographs and then finally gave up. I did use a pen to write, ?Monkey was here.? I did not do it in Seattle, but that is ok. I then went back to my seat and took my glove with me. Well actually, I still had it. Then I just wanted to say hi to Mark Sweeney. I did not think he would toss me a ball. Well he did! Then to top it off I got him to sign it for me. He was warming up with Ray Durham with the ball. I was just floating on air after that. I never thought I?d get his autograph. I know you do not believe me, but I felt I did not think I?d get it. I did not get it on my team ball, but it?s ok.
I just felt like I had to give it my all. How Mark did, he do tonight? He went 2 for 4 with a homerun that was 366 feet I believe. I will have to check my picture because I did take a picture of it. I do not know if he thinks I am his lucky charm, but whatever works right? The funniest part was when I was trying to get his autograph. The usher who was watching the section was being a jerk. He said that he needed to talk to his friends first. Excuse me? But I know him too! Then I was able to get the autograph. I think I was floating on air after that.
I cheered Mark on. I am a girl after all. I do love the game. That was a good day. I will post pictures later. I have a little bit of everything from there. What I did not take with my camera will be with someone else?s camera.
