I've got really bad feet!!

OK it sounds dramtic, but that's the reality for me. Flat feet is a real no-no. Messes up you posture (explains why I'm a tad short.) And how do you ask do I know all of this? I went to see a foot doctor. He said bad everything. So now I have inserts made and they're going to take a little getting use to, but it's to make me better so why not.

Around Soho East...

I woke up and didn't know to do. My cousins then thought of a way to get their father out of the house. So we went down to the pier and took a boat across to Soho East. At least that's what I think it's called. I took a ferry/boat across from Lei Yue Mun. I took pictures of Lei Yue Mun and of the houses around there. Nothing too special. I'll post them up when I can.

We ended up at Heng Hou and just kept on eating. The store we went to Jusco had food there. I tried almost everything. OK not everything, but everything that there was to try that I might like.

What to do today?

I honestly don't know what to do today. It's Sunday and in the morning. I haven't done any shopping so that's bad. On the other hand, if I go shopping that means I'll be poorer, which is even worse. Man I should just ask someone where do you buy certain items. It would make life a lot simpler. Woke up with a stuffed nose today and yesterday. I think it's just a morning thing. Nothing too bad. Universal Music Group 10th anniversary...

Was great. More like so-so. The only good part had to be I was able to see Kelly Chen and Hacken Lee. Jacky Cheung did show up but said he was under the weather and couldn't sing. That's just not fair. At the end of the night Cecilia Cheung said that Hacken wasn't feeling well, but he still sang. His voice was clear and you could understand every single word he said.

There were a bunch of unknowns from China. I couldn't understand their Mandarin because it wasn't understandable. There was one person who's really well known in China, but not here. He sung pretty well, but then again I had no idea what he sang. The show ended with everyone coming out to sing L-O-V-E by the Wynners because the person who wrote it passed away and they wanted to remember him.

Before all of this we went to a place in Central. It was to have some famous ramen noodles with stuff on top. They also had good milk tea. Yummy! Then we went to some other spot where their dessert food was good too. We mainly walked around and found we were going in the same direction a couple of times. We had drinks at an old shop that sells bamboo juice and other stuff. We also went to the police station and took pictures there. There was also the sign that I found that was really old.

We went to a restaurant to pretend we were actually looking for a spot and saw them using the old style tea cups with a lid that you use to push back the tea leaves. Interesting day. And with our luck we found out that the Legislature building had an open day where people could go and see it. Pretty exciting stuff.

Horoscope: This path you're on seems good. Nonetheless, there are others. Explore them.

Alone at last shopping...

I didn't buy much stuff, but the two things I did were expensive. I bought my brother's Macross items. I couldn't believe it. The person was rude too. I'm never going there again. I did see some cute earrings, but I just didn't get them. I also had to wait until the place opened up before I could by it.

I was finally able to hang out with my cousin. He has so little time. He's always so busy. We just walked around and did price comparisson. We ate at this place that was south eastern food. It was Thai food with a hint of Vietnam. Then we went back to buy something. I did finally end up getting one item that was $200 HKD. It wasn't too bad. I also got back my camera too!

Tsuen Wan...

I thought I would have something to buy, but nothing. I came up empty handed. There was nothing. All I ended up doing was be one of the people to hold the groceries. I was holding these shrimp and man was it freaky. The shrimp weren't dead and when they moved it was odd. They were in a plastic bag. I was also holding the bag of vegetarian dish.

I think the best thing about the market was that there was the guava. Man I smelt it and thought, where's the guava? I bet it tastes even better. I had some good food yesterday. Too much squid though. I mean once at lunch and once at dinner was just too much. The food we had was just too much. We had congee and spaghetti. That was just a lot. I was so stuffed. The oddest thing happened too. We were placing bets on the ponies and we bought the wrong race. How sad for us. Oh well.

Macau...

This morning I woke up and headed to the ferry building. The one that takes you from Hong Kong to Macau. Little did I know what was in store for me. It was different. I mean what I remember and what it is now is different. Places been to and things seen.

We first tried out luck at the Sands hotel and casino. This was Las Vegas coming to Macau/Asia. I tried my luck at gambling. OK it was a slot machine that I had no idea how to play. The ones that I did were $50.00 a game. That's an expensive game. There's no way you could play a long time like that. I went for the $0.20 games. I ended up losing it all. Then next we went to the big/small tables. The minimum bet for big or small was $300.00. That's a lot of money. I thought OK I lost a hundred and here's a risk to break even. So I bought $200.00 for big. The next thing I know I'm up $400.00. OK I really broke even because I had to risk the $200. My aunt spotted me the $200 and so I ended up with $200. That was fine with me because I broke even and won $100.

Next we headed off to some hotel where they were super stupid. This one guy kept asking me if I was going to bet. If I wasn't then I had to put down my backpack. What a pain in the rear. Most places ask you to do that right away. The only one we went to with that exception was the Mandarin Oriental. They didn't care, but then again they didn't have a lot of people gambling.

After a little bit of watching we decided it was time to head on over to the Macau Tower. We were on the tallest building I believe and I saw most of Macau. I have pictures, but I won't put them up until I have time to edit them down. I still have other pictures to edit as well. We also went to this one place where we were suppose to be able to see all of Macau as well inside a park, but we arrived too late and decided not to. Instead we went to Macau's Ruins of Saint Paul's Cathedral.

That was different. I remember it when I was young, but to be able to climb up and see it is different. Then we walked down a street where all you saw were almond cookies. The smell was good, but the eating of it is so-so.

Next we went to some other casino. This time I was willing to place my $100 win and make it into more. The saying goes "The greater the risk, the greater the reward." With those words from my brother last time at the race track I had to give it a shot.

I turned $100 into $500 at the end. I had $700 but the last bet that I placed I lost the $200. I know I got greedy, but the risk was worth it. So I left a happy camper. After we went to eat and then caught the ferry back over to Hong Kong. That was some craziness. Winning $500.

Monday morning...

What a night last night. Of course there was a wedding that I went to. It's like these relatives know I'm real, but they don't even see me that often. It's a strange feeling and I know what my brother goes through. Everyone asks where is he and the reason is school. Today I spend an hour or more looking for baking soda. I mean this country is big and they're suppose to have everything, but they don't have baking soda in the supermarkets?

Next I'm off to Mong Kok to get my camera fixed. It's really annoying when you turn it on and want to take pictures but you can't. It drives me up the wall. It's really a pain to be on one side of the world when your mind it on another. I mean I'm hoping that I do get promoted at work, but if not then I should start looking for another. My mother thinks it's a temporary job, while I see it has options and possibilities for more. So far the people in the office that have worked the longest that's there during regular hours are Landa, Sharon Yee, and Karen. All the rest have been from a temp agency or an ad on Craig's List.

I know I make the least in the office, but I do the most. I mean who on earth really knows what's going on? I hope so that I get a raise. I know I'm dreaming. I'll keep good positive thoughts on a raise. I'm thinking about work on vacation. That's just sad right there. That's what most Americans do anyway. So I might as well join them.

More later. Life is too short to be stressing about work.

Japanese dinner...

It was alright. My cousin finally realized how little he knows about me. He doesn't know I don't eat certain foods. It was a buffet and some what all you can eat in two hours. The price wasn't too bad at $138 per person. I wanted to get sushi like the rolls and stuff, but then thought better not to eat it and fill up on rice. I just wonder how big the portions would be. The rice with the sashimi wasn't big so that's good. They did keep refilling the water/tea. I think it was fill up on water and don't eat anymore.

We went to Jusco and just bought a couple of items. Mine were of Coke cans and one Sprite one. I know sad. I'm starting a soda can collection. I really need to get out more. It's late and I have to get up early in the morning. More to report later when I come back from Macau.

A wedding with pictures!

I started this morning with waking up to use the bathroom. OK not a pretty picture. Then I went back to sleep. Afterwards I got a phone call telling me to get up and then get ready to get my hair cut. I woke up around 8.30 a.m. and then hurried to get dress to get to the restaurant to meet up to head over to Shum Shui Po to get my hair cut.

That took a while and then after we went and bought gold. I know what does gold have to do with anything? Well while waiting for my aunt and mom to get their hair done I was just getting cold. Then at the gold store I was cold too. What's up with the air conditioning?? Well then we went to have some food. It was cold there too! I ended up wearing a sweatshirt back to the house and then changing to get ready for the wedding.

I ended up there early and then just kind of bored. My uncle offered to show me around and to see the Christmas lights before they went up. We also went to the Walk of Fame area. Then we took the ferry over to Central. Then after walking around some we headed back. The restaurant at the hotel was cold too. Really now I'm starting to wonder how can they live like this. Then we had food.

There were games played but nothing to scandalous. The groom had to wear a Superman type outfit and I've got pictures to show what he looked like. He had to gather roses through out the restaurant and hand them over to his wife. That was just sad. By the time everything was done it was nearly 11.00 p.m. I believe.

We were on the bus before 12.00 a.m. Now I'm just finishing this and then going to take a shower and then sleep. I need that since I'll have a long day ahead.

To Castle Peak and Yuen Long...

I went to visit my grandfather and great grandparents. It was strange mainly because it was so far. The first place that I went to had a dog. The dog was mean at first and then it warmed up and expected something from us. It was cute and I wish I took a picture of it.

Then we went off to eat. I didn't expect the place to rush us. It was a little something to eat just until we went to buy "wife cakes". I was looking forward to them for so long. I know just a person who thinks about food. Not really. It was in Yuen Long and so it was midway to where we were heading. I mean we didn't have to stop there, but we went just for the cakes.

Then next we headed to Castle Peak. I had no idea that the mental hospital was there. I really did want to check myself in there just so I could stay away. The odds of that happening is so slim. After we went to Kwai Fong Centre to see if there was anything to buy. I did get a couple of items, but I'm not sure how I'm going to divide it.

Today was interesting. I mean why is it possible that you can find the right thing at the right time? I mean that's what I did today. I mean I knew where the right stuff to buy was and then I got lucky finding a VCD. I actually wanted to get the new Westlife CD and I got it. It was strange.

I did finally get blue hair! Yay for me! I have been searching high and low last time and now almost most stores have it. Now I wonder what I'm going to get for the little ones and then for the people in the office. I really hope that Wayne doesn't test the limits of the boss. Thursday 11-18 10.48 p.m.
This might not seem like a big deal to most of you, but to me it's major. I did a lot of walking and nothing was for me. I didn't buy one item. It's just horrible. I can't believe there are no e-mails for me which is good. I mean what did I expect? E-mails about where is what and what it where and who has what.

I guess all those e-mails from home before work really worked. I guess I left all of the right amount of information for everyone. I hope when I get back it's ok. Let's see how many more days until I'm back at home? I have no idea what and when it is, but all I know is that I'm tired right now. It's about 10.45 p.m. and so I should really get some rest.

On the plane...

It must have seemed like ages. I mean I was on the plane forever. There was a baby on board (well there were a few), but this one wouldn't stop crying. It drove me nuts. I wanted to take a towel and shove it into the baby's mouth. I mean that's how bad I wanted to sleep.

I watched a good movie and I'm not sure if I want to go and find some cheap VCDs. I know there are some out there, but I know I won't get it until it's like $10.00 HKD. I didn't even have the chance to use the laptop on the plane, but it's OK. I swear some people have the oddest snores and when you hear it you're wondering who it is. I slept on the plane a lot and that's a good sign.

Tuesday 11.20pm...

I can?t believe that I?m finally heading to Hong Kong. I mean how could I know that I would be going so soon? Packing was really a pain and I just hope I have everything I need. If I don?t well then I guess too bad for me. Telling people I?ll see you next month but that?s what I said. I did email everyone before I left saying when I?d return and who knows what. I did leave a contact email just incase. I know I?ll probably regret that, but in the end hopefully I don?t get email about the simple little things.

The funniest part about work had to be when Nicole called me Sharon and I even answered her just to mess with her mind. I mean I know I shouldn?t but hey I was just having a little fun. I get called anything but my name. The crazy part has to be when they call Sharon to tell me to go to the front just to make copies. That?s the thing I dislike the most.

I can?t believe that I almost forgot slippers! I mean the most important thing and I forget. What kind of person am I? I guess my only excuse was that it wasn?t on the list. I made a list and I think I brought everything that I needed. I even email the boss thanks for the bonus. I mean I guess that?s all I could do. He did respond when I emailed him at work forgetting that he has it forwarded to his home email to get stuff that?s important. I wish I could do that. At least I?d know of new properties and not come back surprised.

I think the goal of this trip is to have fun and just relax and get away from work, though I?ll be waiting for the emails to come in asking where is this and where is that? Those are the ones that I?ll be saying ask John because I made him a list of what and where everything is. I know he?s not familiar with the office, but he?s technically taking my place. If he doesn?t know where everything is then it?ll be my fault.

He did help Priti out and I think that?s what she needed. I did email Sharon about the list that I made and that she should ask Sharon about it. I know confusing, but with two Sharon?s in the office it can be that way. With me joking around and pretending I?m Sharon that makes it three in the office. I know what I?m doing when I respond to any name. It?s just better if they knew the extension and asked me to do something instead of calling Sharon to tell me. I know it?s something as simple as make me a copy of this. That?s just annoying. The simplest thing of going to the copier and setting it for 100 copies and then saying when it?s done can you bring it up is easier for me than can you make me 100 copies.

The time is getting near to when I can board the plane. I?m sitting in a phone booth and typing this in Word. I will sign back on when I get the chance until then I?m out. Well not sign back in, but I mean blog some more.

The news is depressing...

I'm watching the news and they said that if you have an account degree then you should have no problem finding a job. Yikes!

I did get a surprise today at work. I got a bonus. I know I'm shocked too. I've only been there for a month and I already got a bonus. What are the odds? Well I'm not working for like three weeks so it's free pay? I don't know. Wishful thinking on my part.

Just really strange. It was placed upon my desk and I just thought nothing of it like it was a regular paycheck. I don't know. It just weird. I can't get over it. I guess I'm part of the team? I don't really help anyone out, but the accounting people. Well receivables and no one else.

I'm still packing and so I must conintue.

Sunday morning...

Today I woke up and thought that maybe the thread had grown to 11K. That was wishful thinking on my part. I had helped it a little last night with all of those Jack Handey quotes. Those are truly priceless. They make you laugh and laugh some more.

Tomorrow is the day that I have to train someone. I know this sounds odd, but if I can't teach them to do a good job then I'll know I was a failure. The pressure is on. I made a long list of information for them to know. I hope they can understand it and if they don't, well then I'll know I didn't do a good job.

Notice the theme here? If I don't teach them well or leave good instructions then I'll know that I failed. OK on to what I did do today. I packed and repacked. I hope I have enough room to pack everything that I need to bring. I almost forgot my cousin's jerseys and his basketball. That would have been bad.

I slept so much and so long that I didn't wake up until the afternoon. I mean I hadn't slept that much in a long time. I had to do some laundry. It piled up and it was getting full. I don't want a load of laundry for myself when I get back from Hong Kong.

One load down and another to go tomorrow. You know one dark and one light. I might as well clean up my room again thought I just cleaned it last week. I also have to make a list of what to pack up and what other information I have for the temp to know at work. I'm sure I'll think of it when I'm at work with them. My this should be interesting.

Why do I even bother...

going to work. I mean I have no one to report to when there's no office manager. I also have nothing to do or anyone to help out unless someone asks for it and or if they don't I'm bored. I need something challenging. If they don't give me something next year I will consider switching jobs.

I actually got a job to do when I said I had nothing to do. I mean filing doesn't take that long. I mean I just took my time. Then I had a bunch to file then nothing. It was just plain boring. Then after the bosses left we just went crazy and the property manager came back and thought we were being rebels. Like we'd do that. *grin*

I know the office will miss me, but I'd rather get paid more to do something that I love to do. I mean sure I can organize the whole office if no one was there, but to be honest, I don't think they care. The office is just a mess. If I had keys I'd go in on a weekend and just fix everything.

I know I'm a neat freak, but I'm just trying to make the office better. I mean the way the process is now some things really have to change. The office isn't efficient. The photo copying is just plain annoying. I think it's better if the original is with the copy and that makes it easier to sort out. Two piles is just annoying.

A new day with some learning...

I actually learned how to use Skyline. I mean I knew I'd have to, but I didn't think anything of it. Let me start from the beginning. I arrived in the office and saw that my desk had two large binders and those Pendaflex things with papers in it. The boss says that he'd prefer it not be up there, but it's been there for a month and plus the binders had been there forever so I don't know what the big deal is. Then I just looked through everything and just decided to file the stuff away. I mean I couldn't stand having all of that stuff on my desk. I mean now that I know what it is, I can just file it away. Then I was left with something that I tried to figure out with the office manager. She said that she'd have to talk to the office manager about it.

Let's just say that didn't happen and it remained on top of the filing cabinet. Then I managed to ask the boss what can I do to see what belongs and such. He said to call up someone to get them to see if he can pull some connections. I think I'd rather let the office manager do that. I filed away papers that had to be filed away and waited ages for a fax to come and while dialing the fax number it wasn't a fax number to begin with. Oh, how that irritated me. Then I called them to get the proper number and it didn't work. Then I looked at the original fax and it had the number that I should have been calling. Then finally when the fax went through I was happy.

Then I just sat and filed and helped out who I could. I ended up having tennis elbow again. This was at the end of the day while folding statements that had to be sent out. I also had to use Skyline to input new property that we manage. The strange part was that I did forget my profile name and so I logged in a few times and just gave up. I was shown how to add the new units and the oddest thing happened. On my computer the stuff didn't want to be entered. It made me crazy. I thought I was stupid and didn't understand, but in reality the computer didn't let me input stuff. How strange right? Then the person who asked me to input the new units she could add them on hers, but when she tried it on mine it wouldn't budge. Then she allowed me to use the other computer that we have. I mean then I got it done in like 10 minutes with copy and paste. More like copy once and just paste the rest.

I think she felt that I could input more information because I had made the folders and then would know the exact units and or she just had too much to do. That way she figured at least the units were in and then they could be used next month when I'm not there. I do feel like I'm going to be promoted and if I do I want more pay of course and health. I'd love that.

There are good and bad for me being away. Good they'll miss me and wish I was back and maybe give me a better job/position. Bad I'll have to train a temp to do my job. Good I'll have to write up an essay or something for him and good thing I already had one. Bad don't know if the person is bright or not. Good I'll be on holiday for two weeks. Bad they'll wish the temp was gone or want a fun and happy go lucky person. The list can go on and on.

I'm so bored...

at work today. I mean I had nothing to do. I was just sitting in the back of the office without supervision. I mean it's good, but also bad. I had no internet so I couldn't surf the internet. I even jumped out of the chair when I saw a fax come in. That's just pure pathetic.

The desk I was sitting at I organized the drawer. I know she would never have the time so I did it for her. I mean I know that sounds crazy, but I did. I just didn't want to stare at a computer screen. I filed and just sat listening to gossip. When the office manager isn't in the office it's dead and when there's no one else in the office it's deserted. I mean at least Id' have something to do if there was an office manager. I should have just left or called in sick.

I couldn't stand being in the office so when it was time I moved the cars. Yes, I said cars with an S. The first car was easy and I found a place to park. Just had to adjust the chair and the mirror. The other car I almost hit. OK here's what happened. I backed up and signaled and thought it might be safe to go out. I forgot that there was an intersection and cars turn into the street. So I avoided getting hit, but did that freak me out. After I moved the cars I went back to my boring meaningless job. I went to lunch thinking I better hurry up and get something to eat in case they're not back and I have to move their cars again.

I was glad when someone came back when I got back from lunch. I mean I was ecstatic. There was life in the office once again and I was motivated. I mean would you be if no one was there and you had to be there? Sometimes I just want to call in sick. I actually thought about that last night or early this morning.

The reason I thought about it was because I had this horrible stomach ache and thought I would pass out from it. It was terrible. I was almost tempted to call 911. I know that's not good and it would be odd if my new cousin showed up at the house and said, "See I told you that lock was a nuisance." My stomach still hasn't fully recovered, but I'm not going to have anything cold for fear of it happening again.

I did get praised by the boss today. He said that he thought I did a pretty good job. This is hear say now from two of the people he talked to. If I could move up next year I'd stay, and if I couldn't then I don't know if I would. I mean I'd have to be higher than those in the front of the office.

I had more to say, but I could only recover part of the original post.

Took them long enough...

to give me my 248MB. Hotmail who else. Finally all three of my accounts are 250MB. The sigh of relief is being heard all over. What is new today? Let me see. The office manager was sent home sick by the boss so that meant I had nothing to do until I found stuff to do. I was mainly doing odds and ends. Well first I had a big project of making new folders. I guess my purpose in the office is to make folders, copy papers, order supplies, and filing. WOW my life is so fulfilled at work.

Ok so asking the boss on what needs to be done wasn't so bad. I couldn't ask him to look over the stuff that I had done. First of all I had a disadvantage in making the folders since I didn't know how to use Crystal and so I just did everything the old fashion way. I copy and pasted all the items I had to made. The comment I got was "efficient" or "very efficient". He told me what to do and I did it. It wasn't that hard. I just had a couple of questions and just made sure I made everything I had to.

I just don't know if I want to take the A/R's job. I mean I'd have to deal with tenants and stuff and I'd be on the phone all day long. At least 30 voice mail messages a day. I'd have to think long and hard about it. I mean it's a step up, but it's also a pain in the rear.

Horoscope: You'll get more done if you manage your own business. Don't be nosy.

Arigato means...

thanks in Japanese if I'm not wrong. What someone said about the office not being too bright is so true. I mean how could they not know what that means? I mean San Francisco isn't exactly a city in the Midwest. Why do I even bother being smart in the office? No need just become brain dead.

I mean if I knew how to get into certain programs I would. I even lost privileges on how to look someone up. That's just not right. Anyway, I guess since I didn't change it someone took it? Oh well, just one less thing for me to look up and use at work, but it would be to my advantage to know it and to be able to at least use it.

I asked for labels and it took almost all day long. I mean really who can take that long? Why wasn't I asked to give it a try? If I could I might have had it done. I don't like large piles of stuff on my desk hogging room. It's just very annoying. When you have a clean and neat desk it's the best.

The best thing happened today at lunch. I went to Walgreens to buy chocolate and there was a coupon for $1.00 off. I used it and thought maybe I'd just get $1.00 off one bag and not the 4 others I had. Boy was I wrong. I got 5 bags of Ghirardelli for under $5.00. That's unheard of really. I guess I was just plain lucky.

Nothing else new except that in about a week I'm going to be in Hong Kong. I guess I have to get souvenir type of things for people. They'll wonder where I've gone and stuff. Man my head will hurt.

3 a.m. and I was still up...

I then went to sleep. I was watching Kate & Leopold. I know that sounds odd, but that's what I was watching. I finally finished it today. It's a rather odd fairy tale of a movie. Meg Ryan's hair was bad. Anyway, over all the movie was OK.

I also spent some time spamming on the message board. Watching TV and spamming a message board. WOW. What a life I lead. =)

I can't wait for The Simpsons in less than an hour and a half. Long live The Simpsons.

Step Grandma's birthday...

was celebrated today. I don't know when her birthday is, but we celebrate it whenever. It was at Restaurant Peony in Oakland. By the time the last item came out I was stuffed. Honestly, I don't know if it was because I had some soda which will fill you up or if it was because I ate a lot. Whatever the reason was by the time desert came I was able to eat a little.

Before heading to the restaurant for dinner we went to Ikea. You know the place that is by Pixar? We saw something that held many DVDs and thought it would be perfect. The one in the catalog was ok, but not as good as the other. It's odd how sometimes when you're actually there you can see what you wanted. The catalog is good, but going to the store is better.

I also learned before heading off to buying shoes for my cousins that they have huge feet! They're about 12-14 something like that and they wear size 11 and 13. That's HUGE! I said this to my mom who told my uncle that if his boys couldn't fit the shoes they would have to eat them. No joke, I really said that.

Let me see if there's anything else to say. Nope, can't think of a thing.

I can't believe it...

People are stupid. I mean not stupid per se, but can't complete their thought. I know that I'm complaining about work and that's all I'm going to do. I get an e-mail asking me to pull some file out and they were vague.

L: Can you make me a copy of the water bill.
Me: Sure if I knew which one it was.
L: Sorry for PM 687.

Now if they didn't tell me I'd copy all of them and that'd be exciting. I'd like to see the look on her face. I did get caught with a couple of filing mistakes, but one wasn't my fault. I couldn't read the boss's handwriting. The other was because the packets were stuck together so I accidentally filed it together. We're only human and sometimes we do make mistakes. On Thursday, I was filing some stuff properly though it was old.

At least I was trying to make a wrong right. I mean the person who should know where anything goes is the office manager. I know she probably didn't file a lot, but she should know more than me. Ironic if you ask me. I mean we're human after all and sometimes we do make mistakes. If we weren't human then we would be machines and wouldn't be making mistakes. Sometimes they have to understand that items get stuck together when they're being hole punched.

Man if they think that I'm perfect then they're wrong. I mean honestly if I can even lighten up the office just a little bit they should be glad. Everything has to be serious all the time is boring. No wonder they have a high turn around rate in the office.

Horoscope: No one's going to tell you when to stop. That's something you must decide.

Scary stuff...

I was in the bathroom combing my hair into the shower so that I didn't have to get my floor all covered with hair and I had no idea what was to come. I then used the bathroom only to discover where I was standing there was a spider. I was freaked out about that. Scary stuff.

Anyway, today at work was ok. I know I make complaining or groaning noises, but sometimes when you're doing something else you just don't want to be disturbed. I also ended up having to do some other stuff. Figuring out stuff when you don't know what it does is really hard.

After I was away from filing for a while I see in the box a whole lot of new folders that had to be made. Lord how did that happen? I guess it was approved and then it went into my box. Besides having pulled files from another location that I had to put back it was odd enough.

I get told to make 140 copies on sheet of paper. I don't see why they can't copy it themselves. *sigh* Only 7 more days until I'm in Hong Kong. Woo hoo!

And the winner is...

George W. Bush. I will never forget (also with the help of my blog) that when I heard that John Kerry called up bush to say he gave up I was in my room. I was listening to Alice@97.3 in the morning after I had cooked my lunch. I was getting ready to change for work and then I heard it. I was shocked. I was still hoping with some miracle that he would win. Last night I saw the close result and then thought there's a good chance. Why can't they just count every single vote before declaring winners?

Today at work nothing really interesting happened. My order from Office Depot came and I was like OMG I got the wrong stuff. And this big box of stuff is so space consuming. So I called and tried to reorder, but I realized I didn't have the credit card and plus I wanted them to give me a pick up time, but that didn't happen. I'm guessing that they'll either come and pick it up tomorrow and I wonder if I'll be able to order stuff. I don't think I have $50.00 worth of stuff to order unless by some miracle someone has something they need.

I think I better gather up the $50.00 order and get it done soon. I'm not sure what the accountant needs, but I don't want to see her on a bad day. I did take a little trip out of the office and wanted to get a snack or dessert after having lunch, but I didn't. Tomorrow there is no reason to leave the office since I'm bringing lunch to work. Only my 5th or 6th time at most.

I was going to ask the person if I could order the items without the card, but then the phone goes dead. I think they hung up on me when I asked for the confirmation number for the return 3 times. I was hard of hearing and have a number writing problem. That's the highlight of my day in the office. I did get praise for sorting out the office. I wonder if that's a good thing. This was before I said I like hanging out in the back of the office with nothing to do.

I do work, but just on strange things. I really do need a binder to hold the stuff. I wonder if I can take the stuff out of the binders in the closet and use them for my own use. Oh well.

From the message board:
"God OBVIOUSLY wanted George Bush to lose the election
I mean, God sent 4 hurricanes to Florida just before the election warning them not to vote for Governor Jeb Bush's brother, as they did in 2000

God also lifted the curse on the Boston Red Sox, which is Kerry's home town.

God tried to kill Bush earlier in his term by making him choke on a peanut, but his attempt fails when someone notices Bush choking and intervenes

See?!?! Even god cannot prevent Bush from being president"

Before I go to sleep...

I know that Bush is president. When I wake up someone else can be president. I just hope that the monkey is out and 'Frankenstien' is in. We need a change! We need a chance to have a democrat at it again.

Anybody but BUSH!
Let's not elect BUSH in 2004 either!

Election day...

and did you go out and vote? I already did, but near my work the school and someone's garage was the polling places near by. I don't know how many more were like um, polling places, but if a Starbucks had to be one then you know that there were a lot of people registered. The reason might also be for San Francisco, the supervisor voting part takes a little bit more time deciding a 1, 2, and 3.

I don't like the news today, because it's mainly focused on the election. Have some variety or something.

I over slept...

and it was still ok. I woke up about 4 something in the morning and then went back to sleep. I then woke up about 7.49 a.m. to figure out I was suppose to be out of bed already. Is my face red with embarrassment? Yes. I should have known that when I heard talking about a well or election or something of that sort that the alarm went off. I'm not this bad usually, but today it just happen to be like that. Oh well. It just proves that even though I went to be semi early (around midnight) that's early.

Work was nothing more than just not much filing, but I haven't checked lately, so you know it could be crazy. The new receptionist arrived today. Super ghetto if that's possible. LV purse that's like 'old school' and like dyed hair streaks. OK. I started an Office Depot list last week and well, it's still being modified. Crazy isn't it?

Good morning, (insert company name)...

Yes, I played receptionist again. Mostly I had free time. I didn't have much to do. I just sat and looked at Office Depot supplies. I mean honestly I have ordering stuff and saving money. I know that sounds odd, but when you have nothing to do in the office and can't and don't have to answer phones it's a blessing. I don't know if the boss could say anything, but I knew he wasn't happy that I was up at front.

Oh well, nothing lost and nothing gained. I ended up having a pretty last 20 minutes of work since everyone was gone. I was lucky. I mean I'm more than happy to help out in the front, but you know I know when I'm not wanted. I have more fun in the back. You know making copies and stuff and playing with checks. You get to see all the different kinds and such.

I don't know if they'll even give me the chance to move up to receptionist. I mean I know some of it and it's not like it's a hard job except opening the mail. Then I still ended up helping out the front. My lord, I should really be getting my regular pay check and then half of theirs. =)
