I saw the movie and thought it was pretty good. They used some of the original songs that were recorded by the Chipmunks, but I just don't know how they got the voices to match without having everyone inhale helium. It had the funny moments and it brought back memories. I missed watching that cartoon and I loved the opening of the TV show.
It's a fun movie for those that love helium voices and miss the 80s with the chipmunks. If you're in no rush buy it on DVD.
