A nail biting and hair pulling game...

After a really hard to take loss yesterday today's game was even harder to watch. First inning a run scores which is good. Reuter pitched well too to have a shut out until the 8th inning. That's when things became ugly. The score becomes tied 2-2. That's because Burba came in when it should have been Brower. Burba got hurt and then had to leave the game for Brower to come in and then Eyre came in. No runs were scored but you can imagine the hair oulling at this point.

To the bottom of the 8th inning. Dustan Mohr is at bat and makes a double because of Nady slipping and dropping the ball I believe. Ransom is up and is suppose to bunt Mohr over to 3rd. Well it back fired and it became a fielder's choice and Mohr was thrown out. Now we have a runner on first. Next to bat is Tucker and he's intentionally walked. (The chicken count is up to 140 or something by now. Just a guess.) So now we have runners on first and second. Feliz is next to bat. I'm thinking now and nail biting that he won't fly out or double play and then extra innings. So Alou takes out Feliz and makes Bonds make a plate appearance and he's intentionally walked. To recap who's on what: Ransom at 3rd, Tucker at 2nd, and Bonds at 1st. Well you know Bonds isn't fast so Ellison is pinch running for Bonds and he'll have the rest of the day off and Monday to recover from the crazy weekend.

Now Snow's at bat. This is a very good thing. He takes a couple of pitches and then he hits one near center field. The ball bounces off the wall and some guy takes the ball and walks away with it. Everyone watching on TV is fuming over some guy who has season tickets in the bleechers and he looks like a homeless guy with eye black on his eyes! While Ransom and Tucker are coming in to score Ellison has to go back to 3rd. We are all fuming now even Kruk and Kuip. They said the city should buy that guy a bus ticket to Chicago for the left field bleechers or upper deck area to where Bartman was. Then they go to a shot of the Mayor with Sabean (I think) and they're (Kruk and Kuip) talking about how maybe they could track that guy down and send him to Chicago.

Now the rule is this: if you're sitting where the ball can get near you DON'T TOUCH THE BALL! If it's the other team and we're down then that's another story! But don't touch the BALL! Well the bases could've been cleared because Ellison is pretty fast. Snow would still have a double. A.J. would be walked so that they could get to Hermanson.

Well Hermanson saved it for us. He used all his nasty pitches and I bet that he felt he has to get the win for Rueter who pitched a really good game. Conclusion to this is that the Giants took 2/3 games from the Padres (Friars heh heh heh) and next up are the Astros. I really want a 700 bobble head for Christmas so if any of my cousins are reading this thanks in advance!
